The Mississippi Riverbed is absolutely breathtaking and magical this time of year. I snapped this photo while standing on the Franklin Avenue bridge a few evenings ago and I am sure the colors are completely different today. I don't think I have ever seen such an array of autumn colors in one scene. I find myself enjoying everything about the fall weather and all of the changing rhythms that it brings.

This is just amazing. Sometimes it is hard to believe you can find this in the city.
